As a 100% remote Principal Product Manager at Achieve Loans, you’ll impact the lives of everyday people and help them move from surviving to thriving with digital personal finance solutions. What you’ll do: 

  • Be the consumer advocate - understand Achieve Loan consumers’ needs and their pain points across the journey - and define our products and offerings to meet those needs
  • Define the roadmap, set the team's goals, strategic direction, success metrics and roadmap to develop new products that are aligned with Achieve Loan’s mission and drive maximum impact based on data analysis, market research and usability studies.
  • Completely own your team's products, existing or new, across the lifecycle - from ideation, through agile development, to launch, growth and maintenance. Establish the proper frameworks to constantly measure and improve.
  • Lead and align cross-functional partners and teams: engineers, designers, analysts, marketers, business partners and operations to drive a shared vision.
  • Drive experimentation with both quantitative and qualitative research and multivariate or A/B testing
  • Understand the role and importance of design including design thinking and service design as you will work closely with the design team to conceptualize the consumer journey and deliver new experiences
  • Communicate clearly at all levels - roadmaps, priorities, experiments and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences.

What you’ll bring:

  • Must have 8+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 5 as a consumer-facing PM.
  • Strong customer empathy and previous experience working on customer-facing product flows, ideally in consumer lending or financial services.
  • Ability to lead from vision definition, product discovery through product delivery to create compelling value propositions for consumers and value for the business. 
  • Ability to articulate and test assumptions and hypotheses and prioritize features appropriately
  • Ability to earn trust and commitment at all levels of the organization and create win-win situations that benefit the company and your initiative
  • Experience collaborating with product design partners to drive a clean and simple information architecture, brand-aligned visual design and content strategy, and consistent interaction design patterns
  • Experience collaborating with engineering and vendors to understand what’s feasible, what opportunities exist, and sequence/roadmap product releases to meet the needs of consumers and the business
  • Ability to lead and execute with a sense of urgency. Drive towards action and outcome through direct action as well as influencing key teams and partners. 
  • Experience in leveraging insights, data and analytics to deliver product enhancements that resulted in significant consumer engagement and business growth. Be able to define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.
  • Strong execution ability and experience taking a concept from idea to launch
  • Experience leading post-launch optimizations including developing testing strategies with at least 2 years of experience with A/B testing 
  • Experience in managing ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in an organized and structured way. 
  • Excellent judgment and thoughtfulness about the dynamics of a product ecosystem.
  • Detail-oriented with organizational skills -- be comfortable balancing multiple projects, deadlines, and competing requests and be able to prioritize appropriately
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills at every level -- within teams, within the company, to users, and other audiences.
  • An academic background in Computer Science, experience as a software engineer, or related discipline a plus
  • MBA a plus

Salary Range: $140,390 to $285,210 annually + bonus + benefits. This information represents the expected salary range for this role. Should we decide to make an offer for employment, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
