As a Senior Sourcing Manager for Technology, you’ll impact the lives of everyday people and help them go from surviving to thriving with innovative digital personal finance solutions. Our Procurement Team is growing and looking to add a Sr. Sourcing Manager for Technology that will support company-wide sourcing activities and initiatives in the areas of enterprise software, hardware, and professional services.

You role will serve as a contact point responsible for building and managing relationships with suppliers and internal Achieve business owners, as well as supporting strategic sourcing initiatives, driving cost savings, identify and manage risk, discover efficiencies, and support growth strategies within the respective departments supported.

What you’ll do:

  • Direct the negotiation of a variety of technology types, including hardware, software, data, and cloud services
  • Perform cost-benefit and sensitivity analysis, utilizes benchmarking, and suggests methods to decrease expenditure
  • Optimize strategic sourcing procedures to attain maximum value
  • Proactively manage, plan, lead all technology spend across the company, taking ownership and responsibility
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive agreement on terms and processes
  • Demonstrate and practice a high degree of professional integrity and ethical responsibility in all business activities
  • Evaluate and recommend purchasing opportunities/initiatives to Strategic Sourcing leadership utilizing current and emerging business models, assessing short-term and long-term industry and strategic considerations
  • Support RFI/RFQ/RFPs from start to finish, including creation, issuance, and facilitation of the entire process, through vendor evaluations (using scorecards) and vendor selection
  • Perform vendor management activities (business reviews, scorecard reviews, and discussions) in alignment with Enterprise Risk Management teams.
  • Develop analytics and insights that drive supplier planning, key priorities and activities within spend categories

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related degree or the equivalent in relevant experience.
  • 4+ years’ experience preferred in the strategic sourcing / category management / purchasing field, including progressive strategic sourcing and direct negotiations experience.
  • Relevant industry experience in fields related to Sourcing and Procurement of Technology. High-tech or Financial Services industries preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive substantial savings, as tracked to industry standard savings methodologies.
  • Experience establishing and refining strategic sourcing processes, managing performance to the processes,
  • Ability to drive Supplier relationship management and supplier performance goals.
  • Deep knowledge and interest in key sourcing areas such as: Software (Subscription and SaaS), cloud computing, contact center platforms, CRM solutions, security, enterprise storage, network equipment and services, professional services for technology projects.
  • Experience in identifying the relevant risks related to PII and data privacy. and negotiating contract terms to mitigate these risks
  • Self-driven and able to work independently as well as lead and participate in cross functional teams
  • Solid financial and/or quantitative modeling, highly proficient with MS Excel
  • Experience with RFI/RFQ/RFP, reverse auctions
  • Experience with ERP and Source-to-Pay tools
  • Experience developing and/or presenting business cases and communication of quantitative and qualitative information with executives
  • Demonstrated experience in driving contract negotiations, including initial redlines, review cycles with Legal, and assuring alignment with existing agreements and internal corporate standards.
  • Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment with several stakeholders
  • Internal or external business consulting experience highly desired
  • Able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, with a strong executive presence.
