Job Description

As the Compensation Analyst, you’ll impact the lives of everyday people and help them go from surviving to thriving with innovative digital personal finance solutions. In this position you will report to our Director, Compensation and be seen as a subject matter expert on all things compensation. 

You will be an integral part of the Total Rewards team responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of our compensation programs.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about data analysis, has a strong analytical mindset, and is eager to develop their skills in the field of compensation.

Qualifications

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret compensation data using various tools and methodologies.
    • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations for compensation programs and policies.
    • Assist in conducting market research and benchmarking studies to ensure competitive compensation practices.
  • Job Evaluation and Salary Administration:
    • Participate in the evaluation of job positions, both new and existing, to determine appropriate salary levels.
    • Assist in developing and maintaining job descriptions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with industry standards.
    • Support the administration of salary programs, including annual merit increases and promotions.
  • Compensation Program Support:
    • Administrative lead on merit and bonus cycle processing and support.
    • Collaborate with the HR team to assist in the development and implementation of compensation programs, policies, and guidelines.
    • Assist in conducting internal equity reviews and providing recommendations for adjustments when necessary.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
    • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends related to compensation practices.
    • Assist in the preparation of compensation-related documentation, including policy manuals, guidelines, and employee communications.
    • Support audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborate with HR business partners, recruiters, and managers to provide guidance and support on compensation matters.
    • Respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation policies, practices, and programs in a timely and professional manner.
    • Assist in preparing materials and presentations for compensation-related meetings and discussions.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in compensation, financial analysis, or Human Resources.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations effectively.
  • Knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and relevant laws and regulations is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Salary Range: $65,000.00 to $80,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits. This information represents the expected salary range for this role. Should we decide to make an offer for employment, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
