Job Description
We’re looking for a Mid-Level Copywriter to join our Brand Creative team and focus on supporting our growing social media presence—while also contributing to broader brand storytelling efforts across channels.
You’ll craft compelling, engaging, and on-brand copy for social media campaigns, internal initiatives, email, web, and more. You’ll act as an internal brand ambassador, helping ensure our voice is consistent, human, and impactful across touchpoints.
You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and creative, with a finger on the pulse of digital culture and consumer behavior. You look for opportunities to collaborate across departments and bring fresh, strategic thinking to everything you write. Social media is central to this role, but you’ll also play a key part in supporting general brand creative initiatives that help shape the overall voice and identity of Achieve.
What You’ll Do
Write clear, compelling, on-brand copy with a strong emphasis on social media campaigns and content
Support broader brand creative initiatives including email, product,internal communications, employer brand, etc.
Script editing for short-form videos, interviews, educational content, and social-first video formats
Collaborate with Social Media Managers and Designers to continually evolve creative concepts to life across platforms
Create messaging for short-form video, static posts, carousels, stories, and more that aligns with strategy and is written to drive business goals.
Proof and edit copy to ensure clarity, accuracy, tone alignment, and brand consistency
Translate marketing and brand strategies into platform-appropriate content that sparks engagement and drives other stated business goals.
Act as an internal brand ambassador, helping other teams align with Achieve’s tone, voice, and messaging
Stay up-to-date with social and content trends, cultural moments, memes, and platform innovations
Collaborate with performance and product designers to exchange insights, elevate shared practices, and contribute to a thriving, connected design culture across the broader creative team
What You Bring
3–4 years of experience writing for a consumer-facing brand, with a strong focus on social media content
Proven ability to write across formats, from long-form storytelling to short, punchy social copy
Solid understanding of platform nuances—how to shift tone, structure, and approach across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, X, and Threads
Experience working with social teams and contributing to content calendars and campaign strategies
A strong understanding of messaging strategy, audience segmentation, and storytelling
Excellent proofreading and copy editing skills, with sharp attention to detail
Familiarity with SEO best practices and knowledge and/or experience with SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages)
A passion for brand-building and helping consumers feel more confident and empowered in their financial lives
Ability to thrive in a collaborative and evolving creative environment
Bonus Points For
Experience supporting a consumer financial brand (banking, lending, debt relief, or fintech)
Knowledge of emerging social media trends, pop culture, and generational communication styles
Background in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications
