As the Social Media Channel Manager, you will be responsible for amplifying Achieve’s brand and category prominence, positive sentiment, and engagement on consumer social forums. You will be the authentic voice of Achieve in relevant communities, lead internal teams to collaborate and promote brand and category, partner to drive product engagement via paid and organic channels. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of consumer social forum culture, excellent judgment and communication skills, and proven ability to deliver trust and value to online discussions in alignment with the company's business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Voice: Be the primary brand voice and orchestrator of voice in User Generated Content (UGC) social forums. Monitor brand and category mentions on UGC social forums and drive a positive brand and category sentiment via community interactions.
- Community Influence: Engage authentically, directly, and quickly with relevant communities answering questions, participating in discussions, and sharing content in a way that influences, educates, and drives product interest
- Lead Generation: Partner with internal teams to plan, implement, and manage Reddit paid advertising and organic campaigns. Monitor performance and make data-driven adjustments to maximize ROI.
- Results: Optimize key metrics including brand and category reach, sentiment, traffic, and leads from UGC social forums. Analyze performance to continually improve.
- Leadership: Lead internal teams to build the systems, capabilities, and tooling to enable you to achieve results. Partner internal teams to build a content library and provide feedback loop to continuously improve performance on key metrics and in communities.
- Expertise: Be the resident expert on UGC social forums, maintaining our success playbook, continuously learning from external experts and market performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of social media management for a prominent consumer brand managing User Generated Content (UGC) social forums. Consumer financial services experience is a big plus.
- Social Media Expertise: In-depth knowledge of top social media forums, the engagement levers, paid ad units, and best approaches for managing forums, improving sentiment, growing leads, and tracking all.
- Results: Demonstrable results growing brand prominence, positive sentiment, and direct business value.
- Judgment: Proven skill to act powerfully, quickly, and with long term positive impact.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Data-Driven: Able to use metrics and insights to inform and optimize engagement strategies. Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Quid.com etc.).
- Communication: Authentic communicator with the proven ability to influence, educate, sway, calm diverse online communities as needed.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or equivalent from a top 20 ranked university.

- Community-Focused: Ability to engage authentically in Reddit discussions while maintaining brand integrity.
- Creative Problem-Solving: Innovative in finding ways to add value and enhance brand presence on Reddit.
- Process Oriented: Identify the most frequent and most urgent triggering events and build the internal systems and tools to respond quickly and confidently.
- Collaboration: Comfortable working with cross-functional teams to execute strategies effectively.
- Adaptable: Willing to pivot and adjust strategies based on real-time feedback and data from the community.
- Growth Mindset: Seeking to learn from and become a UGC social forum expert.

Work from home/hybrid:
We are proudly offering hybrid options in the Phoenix, AZ and San Mateo, CA metro markets. In other locations throughout the country, we offer work from home (remote) opportunity.
Salary Range: $100,000 to $120,000 annually + bonus + benefits. This information represents the expected salary range for this role. Should we decide to make an offer for employment, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
