Financial Analyst

As a Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A, you help provide critical planning, reporting, and analytical support for the Shared Services organization at Achieve. You will collaborate with FP&A team members and cross-functionally to produce actionable insights that drive data-driven business decisions for Shared Services and Finance leadership. In this newly created role, you will also focus on developing and enhancing the team’s data, tools, and processes to ensure timely, consistent, and accurate delivery of financial results. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, have the ability to shift gears and be adaptable, and be accountable with a high standard of excellence. What You’ll do:

• Assist in the construction of annual plans and rolling forecasts
• Maintain and enhance detailed financial models for Shared Services departments and strategic initiatives
• Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis for Shared Services departments
• Partner with Accounting to support month-end close with recommendations for process improvements
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, drivers, and risks and opportunities
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as needed to support decision-making
• Synthesize financial data by manipulating, sanitizing, and consolidating data from multiple systems
• Continuously improve financial tools and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Partner with peripheral teams to help develop a long-range planning model that supports the strategic vision and company priorities
• Work cross-functionally to ensure spending and resource deployment are aligned with the plan and Achieve’s strategic priorities

What you’ll bring:

• 1 -3 years of financial analysis experience
• Ownership, initiative, and demonstrate a relentless drive to learn and achieve results
• Comfortable and highly effective in bridging gaps in departments to help find common ground, drive clarity, and promote understanding across teams
• Ability to work with large data sets and apply structured, analytic thinking to summarize information in a digestible manner across a range of audiences
• Resilient and self-motivated, always looking to drive process improvement through continuous testing and optimization
• Passionate about problem-solving and achieving results within cross-functional teams
• Upbeat and optimistic, with a growth mindset
• BA/BS degree in finance, accounting or related field
• Experience with data analysis and reporting
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite with focus on Excel; experience with Google Sheets a plus
• Ability to manage projects to on-time completion with confidentiality and integrity
• Excellent communication, analytical, teamwork, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Adaptable and able to react quickly to changing business needs
• Ability to think critically and to question the output of financial models or investment cases and consider options for improvement or provide thoughtful alternatives
• Prior experience with Adaptive Planning and Oracle Cloud is a plus

Work from home/hybrid:

We are proudly offering hybrid options in the Phoenix, AZ and San Francisco, CA metro markets. In other locations throughout the country, we offer work from home in the following states: WA, NV, UT, OR.

Salary Range: $80,000 to $100,000 annually + benefits. This information represents the expected salary range for this role. Should we decide to make an offer for employment, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
