Job Description

Job Description

As a Sr. Product Designer on our Growth team, you’ll design experiences that attract, compel, and convert users to members.  You’ll turn insight into impact—using design to attract, compel, and convert prospects into members who take control of their finances.

We are looking for a Visual Product Designer who believes that trust is built through craft. You won't just be moving components around a grid; you will be responsible for defining the "first impression" of our brand.

Our goal is to move beyond the "standard SaaS look" and create a high-fidelity, bespoke digital destination. You will lead the design of high-impact hero sections, interactive tools, and content experiences that don't just look professional—they feel authoritative. We need a designer who can balance Growth Design (optimizing for conversion) with Brand Artistry (creating unique, memorable aesthetics).

What we’re looking for:

  • The "Anti-Template" Mindset: You avoid "out-of-the-box" UI kits. You have a sophisticated eye for typography, whitespace, and custom layouts that make a page feel premium and trustworthy.

  • Hero-Section Storytelling: You know how to use the "above-the-fold" space to communicate value immediately through a mix of high-end UI, motion, and visual hierarchy.

  • Functional Beauty: You can take a complex utility—like a calculator or a data tool—and turn it into a delightful, polished experience that users want to interact with.

  • Growth Focus: You understand that a beautiful page is only successful if it converts. You design with the user’s psychology and the business’s growth in mind.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • 4+ years of experience designing and shipping impactful consumer web products in agile, cross-functional environments.
  • Bachelor degree for a design focused university / degree discipline
  • Proven ability to drive measurable business impact through experimentation, A/B testing, and data-informed design.
  • Experience designing to optimize for traffic generation, engagement, and conversion-oriented experiences.
  • Deep understanding of funnel metrics, behavioral analytics, and user psychology in digital growth contexts.
  • Strong UX/UI design judgement to compel and engage consumers paired with pragmatic sense of how to implement for efficient development and business/consumer impact.
  • High energy, strong work ethic.  You are thoughtful in design but push the team to rapid test, learn, optimize cycles.
  • Cutting edge on design, AI, and prototyping tool technology (e.g., Figma) and democratizing small/rapid design changes to free yourself for the high impact designs.
  •  Working knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design best practices.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with experimentation frameworks or UX research.
  • Background in financial services or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with design system contribution and scalable component design.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional strategy through design insights.
